Founded in 2008, Stateline Video Games has become a go-to destination in Western Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut for all things gaming — from Atari to PlayStation 5 and everything in between.

Our owner, Frank Bond, started selling video games and movies at local flea markets and from the back of his father’s convenience store. After graduating from STCC in 2008 with a degree in Entrepreneurship, he opened the very first Stateline Video Games location on the Connecticut–Massachusetts border next to Six Flags New England — inspiring the name “Stateline.”

At Stateline, we buy, sell, and trade video games ranging from retro classics to the latest releases. While we do source some inventory from distributors, the heart of our business comes from customer trade-ins. These trade-ins give new life to old favorites while putting cash or store credit back into our customers’ pockets. Every shelf in our stores is filled with gaming history and stories waiting to be discovered by someone new.

What started as a single small location with no employees has grown into multiple locations across Massachusetts and Connecticut with a team of over 20 passionate staff members. We’ve built our business around nostalgia, community, and a shared love of gaming. There’s nothing better than seeing customers rediscover a childhood favorite or introduce a new generation to the games they grew up with.

Stateline offers more than just video games. We provide services including battery replacements, disc resurfacing, console repairs, birthday parties, and gaming events. We’re also passionate about video game preservation, working to refurbish and repurpose gaming items whenever possible.

Giving back to the community is incredibly important to us. Throughout the year, we host charity events, support local organizations, and partner with community groups whenever we can. We’re grateful for the support our customers have shown us over the years, and we’re proud to continue growing alongside the amazing communities we serve.
