Meet the Owner

Founded in 2008, Stateline Video Games has become the go-to destination in Western New England for all your gaming needs—spanning from Atari to PlayStation 5 and everything in between! Our owner, Frank Bond, began his journey selling video games and movies at local flea markets and from the back of his father’s convenience store. After graduating from STCC in 2008 with a degree in Entrepreneurship, he opened Stateline Video Games on the Connecticut-Massachusetts line, right next to Six Flags. That’s how we got our name—right on the state line!

At Stateline, we buy, sell, and trade video games from retro classics to the latest releases. While we do source a small portion of our inventory from distributors, the majority comes from our valued customers through trade-ins. These trade-ins are the heartbeat of our business, breathing new life into unwanted items and putting cash in our customers' pockets. We also offer store credit for trade-ins, allowing customers to reinvest in our selection and feel more connected to Stateline Nation. It’s a unique way for our customers to act as our vendors, with shelves lined with gaming treasures that hold a piece of their stories, all waiting for new homes.

Over the years, Stateline has expanded from a single location in Agawam with no employees to over 20 staff members across four locations in Holyoke, MA, Enfield, CT, and Manchester, CT. We even have a large event space in Enfield, perfect for hosting birthday parties. Nostalgia drives our success; we love seeing customers come in, reminisce about their childhood games, and relive those simpler times.

But Stateline offers more than just video games. We provide battery replacements, disc resurfacing, and host various events, including birthday parties. We are also dedicated to video game preservation, working to refurbish and repurpose gaming items—like turning non-working game discs into coasters!

Giving back to the community is a priority for us at Stateline. We host various charity events throughout the year and are always eager to support worthy causes. We deeply appreciate the love and support we've received over the years, and we believe in the importance of giving back.
